Brown Glass

I see black glass is making a comeback but I've always liked brown glass. Does anybody know if bowyers still use brown glass? Do any of you have pictures of your custom bows with brown glass?

Howard Hill archery still uses brown glass. I just ordered a Bob Lee with brown glass. I like brown glass myself, both my old Redwing hunters have brown.

I've always liked the green fiberglass on some of the old bears...too bad black and clear are the majority nowadays...

Built a nice recurve with brown glass to go with the Pau- ferro wood for the riser. Looks good and shoots good.

Clear for art, black for performance, though very little.

Yep... Howard Hill Archery still uses it, and several other bowyers, too.

This doesn't show the limbs very well, but I think brown glass looks great with a dark riser.

I've got black, brown, and clear glass on some Bighorns. I think I like the brown the best.
