indian tribe bows
« on: July 30, 2009, 07:52:00 AM »
hello,

i am reading the diary of lewis and clark at the moment.
A great read, and sometimes they describe the bows and the shooting abilities of different indian tribes.
As their describtions are rather rough, i was wondering if there are pictures somewhere in the web where i could look at them.
Anyone knows of a homepage with pics or has some hisself?

Regards

"Ecyclopedia of Native American Bows and Quivers, Volume 2" by Jim Hamm

This book covers the plains and southwest US.

Check the book section @ Pine Hollow Longbows, Mike Yancey is a sponsor here
