I'm getting excited too Tracy. It's not that long before we go either. I have been hitting the bike, walking alot and shooting. Haven't really worried about the time of day I do it though as the temp hasn't been a factor.  Ben

We set a record here yesterday with a high temp of 62 degrees. Lowest high temperature for this day on record.
High country got a little snow yesterday, I heard.
I am not complaining, I enjoy the cooler weather feels like Elk season.

Kind of makes you think deer season is not far away.  Feels great.  I also have been on the bike getting ready my trip down under, and the weather makes it easier.

It does feel nice around here. I just hope it's not 100 degrees in October and November.

We have been having nice cool weather, too. Makes me want to find a mudhole to wallow in and pee on myself!
But, the weatherman is telling us that reality will set back in next week..back to the 90s in town, which should transfer to 80s in the mountains.

Hear the rut starting next full moon for Kansas, you'll be wasting your time hunting October and November.
I always hit where I'm aiming, but rarely where I'm looking.
