A bit of leatherwork
« on: August 01, 2009, 08:32:00 PM »
I like to hog hunt. A lot. In fact, I am in the process of relocating to the town of my birth, partially because of a new job, and partially because of the amount of huntable hogs in the area. I like to hunt The Pig.

That being said, when I talked to a man named James, AKA 2madjacks, and he said that making me a custom armguard to reflect my love for The Pig wouldn't be a problem, I got giddy. You see, I like to hunt The Pig.

I see a lot of armguards with deer heads and skulls, mountain goats, bugling elk...all sorts of pretty and popular big game animals. Them critters dont make my blood boil like a hog does. And since I like to hunt The Pig, thats what James delivered for me.  Pig skull on the frontside, and a running boar silhouette on the inside.

And as a bonus, James also made me a leather binder for a notebook that I keep recipes, arrow formulas, and huntin notes in.

James, you do fine work my friend.  I owe you a trip out to chase some pigs.

With beautiful work like that you won't have any trouble getting orders if you decide to become a sponsor.  Both the arm guard and the man book are gorgeous!  Nice work

Talented. My pick is the running boar & trademark. It's simple clean & effective. All great stuff.
