While attending MoJam this year, a couple of young men came by out camp (Okie Camp) with a Red Oak board bow with a crack in the side. They asked about possibly fixing it and we made some suggestions and loaned em a clamp and some sinew. It was a beautiful red stain on the bow. I was impressed with the richness of the color. I cannot find any such stain (Cabranet) in my neck of the woods. I cannot remember the lad's name, but you'll know who you are.
