Barry and I have been putting the finishing touches on two brand new hard cover books that are about ready to be sent off to the printers. Both will be hot off the press in October. Pre-publication orders are being taken starting today at reduced rates.
"Once Upon a Tine" by Barry Wensel has approximately two dozen chapters of true tales from over fifty years of bowhunting experience, told only like Barry tells stories.
Pre-publication special $25 plus $7 S&H.

"Buckskin and Bone" Postgraduate Whitetails by Gene Wensel. 23 chapters of unexploited material on how, when, where and why to hunt big whitetails. Pre-publication price $25 plus $7 S&H

We will also be offering 100 personalized, signed, serial numbered, embossed Limited Editions of each book available for $50 plus $7 S&H

I got a new computer today and apparently hit a wrong button before I was finished. Sorry about that! Special pre-publication price of $25 each plus S&H has to be postmarked by October 1, 2009! Both titles will NOT be shipped at the same time or from the same address since released dates will not be exactly the same. Sorry, no combined shipping or prices for both. Seriously...you guys are going to want to get these books FAST . Gene is nutorious for printing too few and only printing them ONCE. Try to buy a copy of "Hunting Rutting Whitetails" nowadays.

I've been able to read quite a few of the chapters "in process" and both Gene and Barry are letting out a lot of their closely guarded/finely honed techniques.

I have not seen any of Barry's book, but if its anything like his LIVE story telling, it will be great.
I have read much of Gene's book although he did hold out a few chapters on me! Ha! I't classic Gene! Mike

I have no doubt these will be two of the best books ever written as far as hunting literature goes. For sure they are going to be classics written by a couple of "firestarters" in our sport.
