Arvid is a fine man and a true American Patriot. I have hunted and shot with him. The man can shoot.

Welcome!!

I have never shot a Swan, but have heard nothing but good about the bows.

What kind of release is he using on that opening video on his site?  It certainly isn't a tab.

Actually it is a small leather strap used. He pinches it between thumb and forefinger due to his severe arthritis.

Is there a site where I can read more about the "robin hood" record?  I've heard different stories about it, but would like to see something "official".

It was written up in The Archers Digest 4th Edition and an Official from the NAA was there as the observer. It is officially entered in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1985.

I was wrong about the number, it was 347 in 24 hours.

3pc is $950 1pc is $850

After UPS gets here I"ll be listing some bows of the forward handle 3pc design in the sponsor classifieds for $650.

I don't know Chad, try a Google search and see if you can find the record. Guinness lists a very limited number on their site and I couldn't find it there.

No luck with a search.  I'm just curious to know how it was set up--how many arrows were being shot at, what size, what size arrow was being shot, etc.

It was an amazing feat just to shoot for 24 hours, but that many robin-hoods.....if it was one arrow shot at one arrow, not likely that record will ever be touched.
