I have two of my three:
1- 60" 50lb@28,'curve St. Joe River Bow made by Craig Potter
2- 62" 58lb@28 longbow St. Joe River Bow made by Craig Potter.
3- Would love to have a St. Joe takedown longbow in the low 50lb range made by Craig Potter, or a John Mccoulgh takedown longbow in the low 50's.

1. A Howard Hill bow, made by Howard himself.
2. A Fred Bear Tamerlane in mint condition.
3. A Toelke Chinook.
Fundamentally the marksman aims at himself

My #1 should arrive in the next few days!

Hunters Niche Predator Custom Black Phenolic and Impregnated Maple riser with ladderstrip and 58" black limbs 48#@28".

I'd also love a 1967 Bear Super Mag Black Beauty around 45#.  I have a factory camo '67 Super Mag but would like her pretty sister.

A Bob Lee Dark Archer is also on my list to own.

I'm growing very fond of Thunderhorn Heartstoppers.  I would like a new one piece 62"  tricked out out and with all the horn inlays possible. It would be my Sunday Go To Meeting bow.  Mr. Jessup is an amazing craftsman.

1) The right hand version of my freinds Jack Harrison lone wolf with Dall sheep horn riser accents and whale bone tip overlays.

2) Any of Mr La Clairs bows, as long as it was made by him.(hands that can shoot like that have major mojo IMO)

3)A bow actually owned by Fred Bear or Howard Hill or Ben Pearson or Bob lee, I'm not picky.

You should have made this a top ten, 3 just isn't enough!

Based on what I know of Mr La Clair, Greg Coffee is a Bowyer of great talent and dedication, otherwise he would not be where he is. The bows he produces certainly speak for themselves.

Thing is I saw Mr La Clair doing a demonstration shoot at the Prudenville high school when I was about 10. One of my strongest memories from childhood is seeing him shoot. I tried to make a long bow out of anything that would bend for ages after that. Since then I had the pleasure of hanging out in a cabin once owned by Fred Bear on the Au Sable in Grayling Michigan. In fact I had too many wild nights during the hex hatch there to cover here. I even know folks who hunted and fished with Mr Bear. But I never met or saw him myself. I plan on shaking Ron La Clair's hand when I'm in Michigan this October, I look forward to that meeting with pride!

I have found two of my three. A Morrison Cheyenne and a Schafer Silvertip. My third choice may either be a Tall Tines or a Whisperstik KajikaStik. I owned a Kajika but it was too heavy for me but oh my what a bow. Will have another at my weight someday. Have never shot the Tall Tines but I like the curves of the bow and have heard great things about them.

I am building a one-piece bow for myself right now (bubinga) and I hope to use it for bear in September. I have also ordered a Tall Tines (bubinga & ebony) from Brian. If it gets here soon I may have to have shoot off to see which goes bear hunting. The third would be a Blacktail, Schafer, or RER. Mike

I own a Robertson stykbow (falcon). I would love to have another one. Then a Silvertip, followed by a Great northern longbow, really like the simplicity in those northerns.
