I've shot everything through the mess, even with my compound and light speed arrows at 60 yards  there was no change in groups(5 inch groups).  With my recurve and 450grain arrows I dont see anything either?  The big thing is use proper form.  Also the mesh on the blind shown is thicker then I have on my DB's, but don't no if that even does anything.

My Yukon Tracks states clearly that you should NOT shoot a gun through the mesh. I use joebuck's advice and aim 3mm higher when shooting arrows through the mesh.  

The only bad effects I have experienced shooting through mesh is if you try it at a severe angle to the mesh. If you keep your arrow somewhat perpendicular to the mesh it seems to have no noticable effect.

I got a big ole Tom Turkey to come to the wrong window and did not want to chance trying to move the mesh. I put my shotgun barrel right up against the mesh thinking it would just make a small barrel sized hole. It blew that mesh to smitherines (sp) and I had to buy a new window.

We once tried to shoot a deer with a 308 round nose bullet. The bullet blew the screen completely out of the blind without putting a hole in it. The screen had been attached with Velcro. Needless to say we missed the deer, never gonna do that again. Fixed blade broadheads, no problem at all.  ...Lloyd

No problems if you use cut on contact heads that are sharp.

What Bill said, use cut on impact broadheads and there is nothing to worry about.
