This is a dormant volcano about 30 minutes from my house. I was hunting Blacktails and elk opening day a few years ago and posed my Blacktail bow with some huckleberry brush.

 

There had been a herd of elk down in this little green opening and the smell of elk was heavy in the air.

 

A communal elk wallow tucked back in the timber.

 

A river canyon in northeast Oregon. Roughcountry should recognize this view!

killer, thats a serious wallow, because of that pic Kings neck is not only big, he stinks too!

Elkbreath, I think there's something wrong with my computer, I can smell Tree killers wallows on my laptop    :scared:  

Guy's these are great pic's, I am so jacked up for Elk, I think I just peed on the rug and rolled it it   :eek:   lol
