Had to add acouple here....they are from a few years ago....I know not only because of the date on he photo, but I apparently have been shrinking in my old age....because my son is much larger now!
Anyway, Green River Lakes, WYO. as a native and a transplant now in Utah, I still try and make the trek at least once a year....no better place to dip a paddle.

King, yup, I'z a bit twisted.

By the way, LOVE the pic of yours right after the one with the eight elk where you are at full draw in the aspens and all that golden light is coming through the leaves.

AWESOME photos guys!

When elk hunting, the one thing I love more than a good hard frost in the morning - is a fresh covering of that beeoootttiiiiffuuulllll white fluffy stuff.  Now that's elk huntin' in the mountains!

Joe VT - that's a neat photo of the elk shed with your bow against the tree.

Only 27 days and counting 'til elk archery season here in eastern WA!

Shoot straight, Shinken

Curt did a good job of posting pictures of the mountains five miles from my house, which also happens to be my favorite kitty hunting area.  Here a few of the mountains to the south of the house:

One of the local critters, a small one.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
