Michigan is truly God's Country!
How is this for a day; bowhunt in the morning, steelhead mid-day, bowhunt in the afternoon!

I love these threads.I'm guessing the year on this to be about 1978-79,judging by the bow. It's a 54" Bighorn that I had made the second year they were in business. This backpack camp is in the Dolly Sods Wilderness area of West Virginia,early/mid November.

Great pics by all. Thanks for sharing! The Shrew camp is what I picture in my minds eye when I think about a "deer camp" should be.
Come on Fall!

This is will be my home for the month of September. Actually, I have upgraded to a little larger tent - same style, and will live in it first in Colorado and then in New Mexico.
Come October and November, this will serve as whitetail camp back here in Wisconsin.
