Howdy all!

Ol Firemad asked me to share some shed antler photos...BTW...You gotta watch that feller!

If you can't tell from the pics I'm beyond addicted to findin shed antlers.

Here's some pics of last years Christmas tree at our house.
Here it is before we decorated it.This is also how I display them when the holidays are not goin.

Then here's the decorated pics.

I find on average about 100 sheds a year.
I'll keep that years find in a stack by themselves till the holidays then I combine them into the tree.
About ran out of room for adding to the tree.Told momma we are gonna have to move to a bigger house!

Here's the stack from 08.93 sheds.

Then here's the 09 STACK-O-RACK.129 sheds for the year.My best year ever.

Dang man don't anyone hunt deer in your state? Around these parts 90% of the deer never get to shed!

WOW!  That's a cool stack-o-sheds!!!

What part of MO are you in?  I'm over in KC.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Amazed at the quantity of antlers found and displayed.  Are they found on public or private land.  I have seen that many on hunting ranches in Texas in the past.

Dave,I live north of K.C. about 30 miles.

Alot of these sheds came from the Northland down there.

Also alot of them are from public ground.

I travel all over the state and a bit in Kansas as well.

Only about 6 of them come from ground that I actually hunt. And of course they are the small ones.
A couple of the bigguns come from public land that I should really try to go after.BUT...I'm not as successful at hunting as I am shed hunting.

I can find the bigguns shed or dead but sure can't seem to kill em though. But I'm o.k. with that!

The mailbox I've been wanting to do for a long time but where we live they would be stolen.
So my parents let me do it to their mailbox.
I told my dad they probably won't last long.Either get stolen or squirrels will eat them...

Well he called me about a month after I did it and said "I got some bad news about the mailbox".I thought great someone stole some...
He proceeded to tell me when he went out the driveway there was a squirrel on the mailbox with a screwdriver in his hands grinning big.lol

Well Shedhead, hows about we hook up and tag team a couple of them bad boys on public land?  Two heads are better than one eh?  I bet we could at least get some opportunities.

p.s.  I sent you a pm.
Dave
