The bow bolt is really good too.
I was told by Toby from BW that when they put tried to crack the socket that the bow failed in the same place their one piece does (at the shelf, if I'm not mistaken).  Not sure if that is the same thing you are talking about, or if they actually broke the socket at that psi.  Either way it is very impressive...Mike

Anyone like the Treadway style, same type as the Tomahawk from 3 rivers. Never heard anything bad....have you guys???

Mike designed the talon system widow used before the locket socket,same as in the tomahawk   I dont think he designed the new style did he?? I may be wrong though, sure wont be the first.. oh yea. my vote is the widow locket socket as well

I should confess I only have direct personal experience with one td longbow - the mowhawk (uses connexion hinge).  

It works great.  I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another.
