Well the police went over to his house and on the porch of his house was my Trail camera and a couple treestands that had the belt cut off one and the attachment strap missing on the other. We he was confronted he denied any wrong doing and was taken into custody. I haven't gotten alot of the details yet, but I am sure more will come. I provided my receipt for the camera with the serial number printed on it. So it maybe a good idea to save receipts and write down serial numbers for any equipment that is vulnerable. It really stinks to have to be nervous to set stands put cameras out. Especially on family owned properties which are private property and posted to the hilt. I'll keep everyone posted with any updates. Ed

Big Ed I now feel better about my last camera getting stolen, that one of these dirt bags are caught red handed. Don't let up on this scum bag press the issue all the way. The good hard working guys finally win one, Thanks for the story.  :bigsmyl:

And just how likely are you to grant hunting permission to the next poor schlub who comes shambling up your driveway?

That someone would abuse a landowner who had done him such a kindness is a major setback to the relationships that we try to build. I am so glad you took this walking disaster out of business for a while.
