Converting a longbow from 1 to 2 pc
« on: August 24, 2009, 01:22:00 PM »
I have a 64" 48# @ 28" mild r/d longbow that I'm thinking of having made into a 2 pc. Its got a chechan riser with two osage laminations and overlays.

I would like to hear from those that have made this converstion. Also can you recommend a person to do it and the type of t/d system you have.

Pics would be great..........

This is a Sentman bow thats been made into a 2-piece. I don't know who did the work. It's got a sleeve for the T/D. I've got BIG hands and this bow fills My hand up. I think someone with smaller hands might have trouble shooting it. Something to consider before cutting Your bow in half!!
