Benefit Auctions for Kayla Carlson
« on: August 25, 2009, 10:26:00 AM »
Tim Fishell and I have posted 3 auctions to benefit Kayla and Chester Carlson, the daughter and father of Leroy "Goldenhawk" Carlson.

I'd like to apologize for the delay in getting this around as we had a few set backs in the beginning and some confusion as to what was going to be donated and what would take place.

We had orginally talked of doing a raffle, but with all the different stuff involved and people we wanted to avoid any hassle or inconvinence for Chester and keep things simple.

I do believe Tim has a couple things to add to the auctions and will be on later to post.

We've done the best we could with describing the bows, if we've missed anything please let me know. I also have a few more pics and can post those if requested.

I sincerly hope I haven't burned any bridges with anyone over this, I just wanted to do something for a friend and his family.

I really appreciate all the help from Terry, Sue, Joe, and Tim you guys are top notch!

Thanks to everyone else on here for being patient and helping us out.

I know times are tough now, but Bid high to help out a family in need.

-Drew

I would be proud to own the bow I bid on but really would like to do some thing for Leroy's family.  He was a More Than Fair Buisnessman and made many fine strings for me.

If I do not win the bidding I will send a donation to the pot for the family.  I think anyone who can bid a few hundred on a bow and not win the bid can aford $10 or $20 as a donation.  So I challenge all bidders to consider this.

If anyone wishes to do what Brant suggested, please make the donation to "Chester Carlson", Money Orders please and send it to:

Tim Fishell
37 W. 34th Street
Holland MI. 49423.

Tim is handling the money orders and will send all the donations along with the money for the bows at once.

Posting here if you donate will help us keep track of everything.

Thanks so much!

Some one did buy a set of shawnee limbs. Once the deal goes though I'll be sending a check for the sale price of that set of limbs.BTW they were one of the most expensive sets we had   :clapper:
