anyone killed an animal with the new muzzy?
« on: August 25, 2009, 10:25:00 PM »
the stainless 220 grain. I have been shooting them for a couple weeks now and I noticed a broken bleeder blade tonight???? They have only been in targets? Just curious if its an issue other people have had. I just want to make sure they are durable cause they fly so great.

thanks

I'll let you know as I leave next week for Wyoming antelope. I have had no problems in the target and they do fly great.

I've killed a few hogs with the 220's. Devastating holes. I really like these heads.

When I dropped bow weight from 65 to 55, I realized I wasn't shooting thru stuff anymore. I mean I'd bury up to the feathers but I like to "zip" thru. I went to the 220 Phantoms and now I'm blasting right thru again.

The old order is passing. Swiftly receding into memory are the days of strong, earnest men who followed an atavistic yearning to pit their skills against wild animals.

It's a good look'n and solid head.  Same cutting surface as a 160 Snuffer.  I'm gonna give'm a run myself this Fall.

The last bear I shot with a Phantom only went 20 yards. You won't be disappointed in them.
