Cordovan rest & strike plate
« on: August 26, 2009, 09:10:00 PM »
I have been using a small piece of Cordovan leather for my rest and another small piece for my strike plate. I really like this setup, I get great arrow flight with both field points and broadheads and the Cordovan last a loooong time.

The only issue I have is that it's not totally silent when I draw my arrow across it to get to full draw.
Is there a trick to make the Cordovan completely silent for hunting?

Thanks!
