A "DIFFERENT" Quiver question.

I am going to try some "scary sharp" heads this season with a back or side quiver. This has prompted me to ask a question that has always been on my mind.
HOW DO YOU CARRY SHARP BROADHEADS IN A QUIVER AND KEEP THEM SHARP ALL SEASON?
I have been using a cat quiver or a side stalker. both will hold the heads steady. I am wanting to use my plains style quiver this year so I will need to come up with a way.
What say you?

For the back quiver some put a cupful of rice in the bottom. If the quiver is made properly it will have a bend in it. Thus keeping the broad heads from touching one another. You still should touch them up a field. Hope this helps.

Two tracks I use a leather boot over the head so the BH isn’t rubbing together in the quiver......stabow

Thanks All! I was thinking about putting a sheath on ea head with a cord hooked into the quiver so the sheath stays behind. I like that possibles bag you got Jeff. did you make it? I like to carry a small hawk and some other "stuff" so I really like to have some kind of pack with me. That looks pretty cool.
Thanks again.

No way....lol.
I got it from 3rivers.
I'll use this one, until it cools off, some. Then, I'll be using my Arrow Master. Looking forward to using both of them. I like them both.

I maybe paranoid, but I pull a different arrow from the quiver each time I hunt. Normally use a 5 arrow quiver with 4 broadheads and a judo or blunt, so after a weekend of hunting (4 hunts) I take out the diamond file and touch up the heads. I have friend that has killed over 35 P&Y bucks and he told me years ago that once a broadhead leaves the quiver, then goes back in, consider it "dull". Mike

You can make a formed rawhide cup for your plains quiver and put a foam insert in it. For a back quiver you can take oat or wheat seed, whole with the husk, soak it in a waterseal type product, let dry thoroughly then add enough to cover the broadheads.
