Newbie question
« on: August 30, 2009, 12:39:00 PM »
Sorry if this is a newbie question. I have a recurve that I found a hairline indentation on the handle. You really need to look close to see it, you can feel it only by using your finger nail. The riser is Bacote, and the indentation could either be a dent or a crack developing not sure, hope not. It's not running with the grain so that's why I think it's just a dent. The bow was demo model, so I assumed there would be some wear. How can I tell if this is a crack developing and not just a dent.

Without seeing the crack I'd say fill it with super glue and keep shooting.
