That is great, Dave!!!!

I only have 1 private property that I hunt and they don't want venison. the landowner shoots several with damage permits and often lets them lay if he can't get a hold of me or anyone else.
However, we deliver a big box of home-made Christmas cookies and candy --- and that seems to fit the bill nicely!!

I have a similar situation that was afforded me about 3 years ago. It is a 40 acre stretch up in North Texas about 10 miles West of the Hagerman NWR. It is a pass through area and I have yet to take a Deer on it. I haven't been on this site too much lately because I brought my wife up to Alaska  to see the grandeur and then when I came back, I have been busy putting in a food plot on the property. Lucky me, my wife has been helping me.
There are some nice deer up there and I would love to harvest one. Its not everyday you find a free place to hunt in Texas! The first one I harvest, all the venison will go to the landowners, and I will share it from then on. They've never had venison before.

Wow, what a beautiful place. If the hunting is as good as the scenery it ought to be great.
I would gladly give someone venison for a place to hunt. As it is I only have public land, but I still share my harvests with friends, family and co workers. It's a blessing to have plenty.

Yes I do and would love to give more if I could find more folks in my area to give to . Anyone in my area knows of someone wanting or needing the meat please let me know . Most years me and my Dad kill enough for his family and mine and then we let alot of deer walk and only take a nice buck so alot of does are starting to over populate our land . There are ALOT of deer hunters in our area so most folks just dont need the meat but I still would like to help if I can and also take out a few does this year.
