You made me curious so i went and measured one of mine. They were 1 1/4in. They do overlap almost 1/4in. Thats on 5/16" carbon. I would have to say go with 1". I'm sure someone will tell you for sure though.

the 1 1/4 inch width is the std size and yes the small dia carbons do not require that size they are in the 1 inch range.

But I sure would go with the 1 1/4 inch size, why  ??? the overlap will make sure the wrap will not move etc...

On my 90's I used 1.125" wide,Onestringer has them in many widths like 1",1.05",1.125" and many more.

ted...I have used CX terminators and Vapor Carbonwoods (both 5/16 dia) and I make my wraps exactly 1 inch wide.

(PS...My new to me Widow came in today...can't wait to shoot it)

thanks for the posts everyone, I ended up getting the 1",, but mostly because I measured the arrow with a piece of paper and I forgot I put this thread up and didn't see it first,,, having a bit of an overlap makes sense but we'll see.

get outta here--> Hickstick you have a widah?  I love them,,, seems my shooting is always good or bad with my other bows but with my new PSA (and yeah maybe its the weight) I can go months without shooting and then take 6 shots  and atleast put them in a 6" cirle @ 20yds--> I'm not "Bow Brand" Bias but there is something abvout those bows,, I hope you love it!  I'm hunting opneing day in NH using the recurve if you want to join me I'll put you on a good spot.

register on the widow wall when you get it (you need the serial number)
