Questions RE: 3Rivers WW sharpening video

Does it work like that for you guys in the real world?????.....lol

I bought my flat file.  I finish with a diamond stone....even get the wet stone out for the finer, last rubs.

It ain't shaving sharp.

So....do I need to do more work on the ANGLE?  No problems....just wondering.

Thanks.

Consistent angle and light pressure are the keys to a sharp edge.  Don't matter if the edge is a broadhead or a kitchen knife.

Keep a black magic marker around when you sharpen.  Darken the bevel whenever you feel you aren't making progress and check after each stroke to see what angle you are really hitting that piece of steel at.  It's an eye-opener.
