I have not recieved the bow yet as it is in the mail but had some downtime to let you see the picture that Brain sent me.
The Bow is 70#@29 it was made with lacewood riser and limbs with carbon backing. I have some canebreak skins that I will put on when i get the bow. Looks like great work Brian, thanks for going with the carbon.

Beautiful bow! What are the woods involved? Do I see snakewood?
The unstrung limbs profile puts me in mind of the terrific Sley recurve that is no longer being made. Does anyone else see a resemblance?
Congrats on a fine bow, Micheal!

I spoke with Brian a couple of weeks ago and he is very professional. Was thinking of a plainone with diamondwood and brown glass, bu after seeing this one, I may have to get fancy!
Nice bow! Congrats

Brian Wessel--do a member search for Talltines and you can PM him. He has had some "issues" with the guy doing his website, so he now has a new guy, who is doing a bang-up job, and should have it done real soon.

Brian Wessel is the bowyer
[email protected]
. I am in the process of designing his website (I'm the new guy). If I'm not mistaken the bow up top is Leopard Wood.
Brian is getting me some things together for the site and it will be well on its way in a week or so. You can watch its progress. Here's the address.

Steve O,
Brian is working on it, but you know how that goes....they never work as fast as we'd like them too, but it will be worth the wait.
I'm just glad I ordered when I did. I'm sure Brian is completely covered up by now.

Steve,
First glances are deceiving...I thought that too. There is plenty of difference;
especially
in the limbs. It is too late and mine is in the truck, but I can measure it tomorrow. Do you go from bolt hole to bolt hole or end of riser to end of riser?
