I really think I'm ready for this hunting season, I got my first longbow kill the other day while out tree rat hunting,This is how I pratice for deer and bear season and hone my shooting and stalking skills!!! WARNING: the pic is not for the weak of stomach!

Congratulations. I got my first trad kill the same way, just the other day. No photo's unfortunately but a perfect head shot. The little bugger kept coming into the kitchen of the camp where I live. Can't have hairy tailed rats in the kitchen so the stalk was on and made the shot. Other cooks (city folk) just didn't understand
Great shooting and go get some more.

good shot. chipmunks are fast. i have shot at em with my pellet gun and they move before the pellet gets there.

Tree Rat hunting is lots of fun. It's a good test of your big game bow and arrow combo also.
