Hoyt Dorado and Long Draw Length?
«

Is there any one out there shooting a Hoyt Dorado or Gamemaster II with a 30" or longer draw length? I'd like to try one but I have a 30 1/2 inch draw.
Thanks for any info.

I have a GM with Dorado limbs (45#@28" marked on limb), at 30" of draw they scaled in at 56#. It feels like they are hitting a wall. This is on a 21" riser, the Dorado's riser is 2" shorter.

What DesertDude said.
My stepson had a Dorado, after 28" you had to use both hands!

I have a 29" draw length and had a Dorado for about 2 weeks. I couldn't shoot the stock limbs as they stacked terribly and were not smooth at my draw length. I fitted a set of ILF limbs to the riser (there are good walkthroughs on this and it's very easy) and with a set of Long limbs I could draw them well past my draw length without any stacking. You also get a better quality and higher performing limb that way. I sold the bow cause I didnt like a heavier overall bow weight.
