Go to broadhead?

With all the talk about single bevels and new broadheads coming out i suspect a lot of people have changed heads. My question is do you'll have a go to broadhead or do you change around depending on your mood.

I have a lot of go to things:  I have a go to truck; a go to set of boots; a go to set of arrows, and yes...a go to broadhead.  Single bevels have not excited my inner soul so I'm shooting Bear Razorheads.  I have an uncle who has a go to bar.  Well, at least on Friday nights.

I think George said no...or at least that he's not ready to jump on any bandwagon but that Bear Razorheads have killed deer for him for years so he's not about to "go to" anything else anytime soon.

I've tried Snuffers and Woodsmen. Both worked, but this year I'm going to "go to" Zwickey Deltas. Yup, old school, double-bevel, wide, two blade broadheads that penetrate great and leave a big old gash. Also they are inexpensive and have killed every critter on the planet. I guess you could say they are proven.

I'll bite.

The old-style Muzzy 3-blades.  Like 30coupe, they're double-bevel, 3 blade, and you have to slickin' them up out of the package...not much to get the fuzzys about...but of the whopping 3 different heads I've tried I go back to them.

I like a little more weight up front than the Delta provides, so my "go to" head for the past several years has been the Ace Express 165.  I'm playing around with some other weighting options, so will be trying some other heads, incl the Delta, but I will keep some of my proven arrows with the Ace on them just in case.

I like regressing the older I get. This year my arrows will be tipped with Pearson Deadheads, Shulz Hunter heads from "days gone by" but I also will use 160 gr Snuffers. However, my go to head will always be the 125 gr Zwickey Eskimo. I'm never without these in my quiver. Been shooting them since 1978 with great results.

I'll stick with my Ribteks., but they are getting harder to find than parts for my Winchester Model 94.

i changed from a woodsman to a 125 eskimo, every year theres gonna be the newest thing out. but in my opinion you can go wrong with the ones that have stood the test of time.But there all gonna work if you get em sharp and put em were it counts

My "goto" head is sharp, period...

I use a lot of different heads and depending on what I'm after and I guess my mood is what ends up on the end of my arrow.

Most broadheads are good if sharp.  I've used most of the old standbys and they have all worked very well..

However, this year and probably for a long time, the Abowyers heads are my "go to" favorites. The steel and temper in them is just fantastic. They sharpen to a razor edge and hold that edge. Very well made plus have a machined ferrel..  Just a really premium head for a reasonable price. I've managed to kill a few pigs with these heads and the results have been great..

STOS 160s, Zwickey 4-blade deltas, Abowyer single bevel Wapitis.  Usually have two of the three in my bow quiver at any one time.

Zwickey Delta 2bl for me. Been using that head for over 30yrs. Tough, accurate and easy to sharpen, with good penetration. No need to change.

160 Snuffers. If I want lighter, I use 125 Snuffers or Zwickeys. For heavier, 190 Ribteks or Grizzlys. I'll be getting some of the 160 and 190 VPA's at some point, after the dust settles. Hoping for the 1 1/4 width that might be coming.
