Well fellas...first deer with my recurve
« on: September 15, 2009, 11:06:00 PM »
I did it; tonight was my night. A nice doe cam in to about 18 yards and I let one fly. She was quartering to a touch and my shoot was a bit more left then what I wanted. However it was still a lethal hit and she only went bout 70 yards.
My tuskers really did a job; the blood trail was immediate and toward the end it wasn't a trail. It just looked like someone threw buckets of blood around the woods.
I got most of the hunt on video..except for the shot   :knothead:  She came in quick and i didn't have time get the camera arm around. Oh well gonna see if I can pull a photo of the video.

WooHoo....now I can start looking for a buck   :biglaugh:
