How many of you guys out there are crazy about Spring Gobblers with trad equipment??? I'm counting the days down to spring! I plan to start out the spring fling in Kansas with their new 2 week archery only season! I'd love to see your photos and hear your stories! I've yet to take one with trad equipment, but i plan to try the entire season with my long bow! Thanks, Shawn

Killy, turkey's have no nutz, but they do have a pecker. It is on their face!
No wonder there so ugly and scatter brained.
Sorry, I could not resist!

I have shot a ton of turkeys with a gun. This spring I'm going to give my longbow a whirl. I have a special friend for them to meet, he name is Henrietta she is a bearded hen that i had mounted years ago. I thought i would try her as a decoy and see what happens.

BGBhunter, that is an awesome armguard and hipquiver. My kids and I enjoy doing a little leather work, we recently made an arm guard for a fellow on here and it looks similar to that design but with out the snake skin.
Awesome pics!!

Well, you don't have to worry about scent control for turkeys, right?

You said it, Chuck! Is nothing sacred?
Here is a video of my turkey dog, Spirit. I found out that she is a turkey dog today, at the 3D range. She bobs and weaves better'n Ali ever did!
