Quick Hunt - Deer
« on: September 17, 2009, 11:14:00 PM »
Our archery season opened on the 15th and today was my first opportunity to go.  I left the house at 2:00 and arrived at my property around 4:30.  At 4:55 I pick up my bow and start walking down the road....I shot this deer at 5:00!

Young button buck.  Went about 75 yards after the shot.  Flies were terrible....never seen them this bad.

Great start to your season. Them button bucks are a lot easier to drag out of the woods than them big ones, good eatin too!

Congratulations  :clapper:  but think of how many deer you could have shot if you hadn’t spent so much time dilly dallying around.   :goldtooth:
