? for Wes Wallace "Royal" shooters
« on: September 19, 2009, 12:03:00 AM »
I'm thinking about buying a used LB, bow is 62 long and 48lbs @ 25. I shoot about 28, is the length recommended for a 28 draw. Will the bow gain boundage as it is pulled back at 28.

Thanks

The bow should gain 2.5 lbs per inch of draw length.  Wes's bows are very consistant in this amount of poundage gain.  62 inches will work at 28 inches, I would prefer at least 64.

About 56 pounds at 28 inches. You won't have any problem with the 62 inch bow. Wes makes a very nice bow. You would be happy with it.

I have a 66" Royal TD, 59#@29". Love it, although I prefer hunting with 62". If you don't think the weight would be to much for you I would jump on it! Wes makes a very nice shooting LB, wish I could find a 62" Royal 60-65# at 29", if it was a TD I wouldn't hesitate  buying it.

Get it, you won't regret it!
