1st trad kill
« on: September 23, 2009, 03:19:00 PM »
It has been a little warm here in wisconsin since opening weekend. I was set up in a funnel between
food and water on a north facing slope. I picked
the lowest trail I could find reasoning that the deer would travel the path that offered the coolest temperature for moving in. turned out I
chose wiseley, about 7:00 pm at 14 yards I got
this young doe quartering away in front of me.
I caught her in the liver and lung, she went about
20 yards and fell over dead. Can't wait to do it again.

Congrats man!!  That is a nice looking doe.  Some fine chops and burger there.

time.  cari-bow wolverine 58" 50#@28" just got it 6 weeks ago and love it even more than my peregrine, cx heritage 150's with woodsman elite
150 up front, first time I used the elite and they seem to work just fine.
