Safety Harness ?????
« on: September 24, 2009, 07:22:00 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these two harnesses:

1. Trophy Line Safety Harness

2. Hunterspecialities Harness

I am currently using a Loggy, but am looking hard at the Trophy Line. Handled one the other day - is a little heavier at 4 lbs. I really like how the suspension relief is built in without having to deploy a strap. Most likely will have one prior to opening day.

The HSH harnesss is a realy nice setup.
Its not the size of the animal you hunt that matters. Its how you hunt the animal.

Are you referring to the Hunters Safety System Vest?

If you are, I use one, and love it.
It is very comfortable. However I use
a Seat-O-The-Pants Safety Rope instead
of the tree strap that came with it.
Best thing I've bought for a few years.
The deer drag hook is a cool feature.

Thanks for the feedback, I picked up the Trophy Line for $79.99 and didn't think, I could justify the extra money for the HSS system.

I'm going to use the Rope/from my SOP as well, I don't know why they would include the web/strap, as it would seem difficult to slide up the tree quietly using a climber.
