Pics of my new John McCullough Fiftyniner
« on: September 25, 2009, 09:50:00 PM »
Ok I just received my new John McCullough Fiftyniner recurve and all I can say is WOW!  The limbs are highly figured bubinga with bamboo cores.  The riser is bubinga with curly maple chunks!  The overlays and tips are curly maple.  The bow is 50# at 28" draw.  Enjoy the photos!

Mike

Wow is that nice!  I looked at one while I was at Denton Hill and it fit like a glove...

Love the curly maple.

He always has the best looking Maple out of any bowyer I have seen. Both quilted and curley, he always has the most figured wood.

Now I've gotta tune some arrows for this jewel so I can stick a deer this season!  Maybe even a bear if I'm lucky enough to go bear hunting again.

Great looking bow.  I've never shot one but would love the opportunity to do so.  Looks like a winner for sure.
