These are both Gerbers - nothing fancy but they do the job.  Left is for field dressing deer; right is thicker and heavier - good for opening chips, fighting off marauding sasquatches, whatever.

This season I hope to open up my first deer with the Buck "Alpha Hunter" I picked up this year. (Had it signed by Chuck Buck himself... At least I think that's pretty cool.)

These are my three prized blades. I will always have one of them in the field with me. From top to bottom: 1)My Fathers K-Bar. Strong and sharp. 2)My German made Linder. I bought it used in new condition. Had it with me when I killed my first deer with a bow the other day. 3)My Grandfathers Utica Sportsman. High carbon blade with an edge like a straight razor. I like this one for rabbits and squirrels.

I have and have had a lot of knives.  None really fancy or anything, but I do like some of those sponsor knives.  Maybe I will treat myself to one.

I used to always carry a mid size fixed blade belt knife.  Now for the last dozen or so years I find I always have a Browing Kodiak F.D.T. 3-Blade on the belt.  It has a drop-point blade, saw and unique hide-cutter blade which can be used as a standard gut blade when pushed or as a guthook when pulled. IT has a Zytel handle.  It really seems to hold a edge well.  All three blades lock, and the saw blade is replaceable.  The saw blade is really a fast cutter with a double row of teeth unlike any other saw blade I have seen.  It cuts through stuff much faster than other folding saw I have had even at its small size.

I don't always have a sheath knife with me, but when I do it is this one. My dad gave it to me on my 11th birthday (my first deer season).  I have always got a Case slim-trapper in my pocket.

I carry either single blade a Browning folder (can't remeber the model number) or a Gerber C375 belt knife.

If Doug is the guy I'm thinking of, he donated a knife to the Compton Traditional Bowhunters a couple of years back and ohhhhhhhh did I want to win that knife.  It was a beauty!!  todd

Nothing fancy or special, 'cept to me. I carry a old Buck Woodsman that belonged to my dad. That way he still goes on hunts with me.
