Broadhead covers

Does any body know where I can find covers that slip over your broadheads to keep them from getting dull while you carry them in a quiver? I know Bear used to have them, but I haven't seen them for a long time. Thanks.

They haven't been around for a long time.  Some folks make them out of leather now...  todd

Hey Sam...i use one for 2 blade broadheads similar to what Mike's Archery leather makes (a sponsor here)....not exactly what you are looking for, but it works pretty good.

Make your own all you need is some leather and if you dont want to sew edges use a hot glue gun just make them a little bigger so you can have a 1/4" glue line its very easy      :archer:

100mph tape (duct tape) works great

I cut out a think peace of foam type material, that fits down into the bottom of my quiver. Then I just stick my broadheads done into the foam a little so they don't move around.

I like the idea of making them. Sounds easy enough. The notion of the foam seems practical also. Do you use something like styrofoam or do you use a close celled foam ?  Paradocs,I must have overlooked them when I checked the 3Rivers site. Actually, I like all these ideas. Thanks , guys.

I sewed a tight fitting single arow quiver for carrying in the bowhand during the stalk, but for those in the the back quiver, I just buy a cheap pair of leather gloves and cut the fingers off.  10 broadhead covers for $9.00!

What I did, is I took and old arieal target I had from 3Rivers and cut a peice out of it that would go into the bottom of my quiver.

Sam, How many do you need?  Trace me a pattern of your BH's and email it to me with the measurements marked on the pattern and I will get you some made up.  I have plenty of leftover's that need to be used.

Take closed cell foam ( a old sleeping mat works great) cut any shape, size you want for your BH. Cut it open at one end and slide your BH in. Cheap and works great.
