Great Ground Blind Chair

I know there has been a lot written about ground blind chairs. I've tried and bought a couple. Until now I've used my Nifty Seat which is great especially if you have limited carrying space as in a back pack or flying to an out of state hunt. But I can only sit in one for short periods at a time.
After seeing how effective Doug's and my Gillie suits were on whitetails and mule deer in Montana, I decided to spend more time on the ground this year. I have permission to hunt a commercial apple farm near my house but the apple trees are all pruned for picking and Not tree stands. The whitetails hammer the apples but it is near impossible to get in amongst them...until now
On my drive to our Maine cottage this past weekend, I found the perfect ground blind chair (for me anyway). It is an Alps Turkey chair. It is low enough to get you down for concealment, wide enough that you can sit in a number of ways, and with no arms nothing to get in your way. But the best part is it is exceedingly comfortable and sturdy. They also come with a carying strap. Plus they were on sale for $25. Just thought I'd pass it on...Doc

I like that. Keep flirting with the notion of getting a turkey chair but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Nice chair, but being so low to the ground it seems like you would have alot of movement getting up into shooting position.

maxwell, It is 9 inches off the ground. Because it is so wide you can shoot just like sitting in a chair or slip side ways and shoot. Not noisy either. Plenty high enough for me to shoot.
huntman, No motion at all...just like shooting off your knees.
Blasterjdh, I'll try to get a picture with me sitting in it.
Bill, Fox Ridge Outfitters in Rochester, NH on 153 has them @ $25.
