Had a mule faced doe head on at about 10 yds thurs night but got busted by her twins that fed right under my stand. Three deer jumping and blowing and stmping all around me for about 15 min looking for me to move. They finally moved off but needless to say I didnt see anything else that night. Spent two more mornings out but nothing was moving till late afternoon/evening due to the full moon. Will be back in the tri-vally area the first week in Nov. Loooks like the deer herd in Ohio is very healthy.

Went out Tues evening, first time on this property, put out 2 stands in the summer. Saw 2 does and a heavy 8/10 couldn't tell but he was heavy and looked like 140-150...but heavy. It was getting dark...about 50 yards, no shot. I know he was a shooter. What's cool so far is I have seen 4 different bucks that are in the 130-150+ on two different properties in Median/Seville. Things are looking good...hopefully I will get a crack at one of these big boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK Ohio guys/gals, why is this on the 2nd page? Are you all going to let 30-40 mph winds and 2" of rain stop you!!! Now get out there and kill some deer.lol
It's days like this that I'm sure glad I got my buck already. :p

Just waiting to take my girls out to the woods. It is hard to get all of us out there during the week with so much going on(homework etc....). I am trying to find as many ways as possible to include them in my hunting adventures! They are only young once and I want to spend as much time with them as possible.
We'll get one sooner or later, but I could handle sooner!

Alright Charlie I'm bringing this back up top so you can post a pic of the deer you're gonna shoot this weekend.

I might get out for a few hours this evening. There are some oaks the deer are hitting and its only a 40 min drive.

Hoping for better luck tomorrow; haven't been out since opening weekend, when I drowned in the morning setup, then went deer-less all evening until 10mins. past shooting light when 3 doe came right up to my ground blind while I was gathering my stuff up. No matter how hard I squinted, I couldn't see anything but silhouettes, even at 10 paces.

Still working on it, went out at half time of the OSU game. Hunting a field that I've seen 2 150+, not tonight. Saw 5 bucks and 3 bald. 2 8 were pretty nice, but 50 yards out...wouldn't have shot them if they were close. Will keep looking for the 150's. The 2 8's did some nice sparring, which was really cool!!! Going out in the am in my woods stand and see if the 150's are eating acorns. I'll keep you updated if I have any luck...it has been great so far!!
