Undue Krazy Glue?
« on: September 28, 2009, 02:32:00 PM »
I used Krazy glue for my nock inserts this last weekend.  Of the 12 arrows I had a problem with 2.

The nock wouldn't quite seat, and the glue set up so quickly I was not able to fully insert it, nor was I able to remove it.  So now the insert is protruding about 1/4".   Arrows are Beman Carbons.    :knothead:

Is there any known way to fix this without damaging the shaft and/or without cutting the shaft down?

Thanks in advance -

dip the end of the shaft in a little acetone.  It dissolves the glue quickly.
