Anyone Made their Own Quiver/Possibles Bag Combo??
« on: September 30, 2009, 10:44:00 AM »
Hey all,

I would like to see some of the handiwork you all have come up with.  I have been thinking of putting together one of the Possible Bag/Quiver combo and would like to see some examples of what you all have made.

I know there are some really talented TRAD shooters and hunters out there so lets see what you have made for yourself to hunt with.

Thanks

Nala

Made this one for about $20, the quiver swivels 360 degrees so the angle is infinate. Best/cheapest rig I've used yet.

I'll post pics later of a coyote hide Plains type quiver I made not long ago. I used the face for the possibles bag flap and made the bag detachable to be used seperately if wanted.

Here is the coyote quiver I made...

The pouch is detachable with it's own stiffener but it does not have it's own strap. A strap could easily be attached.

I'm a fan of the plains-style quivers with a large pouch (or two smaller ones), though the possibles bag with the quiver attached like gray buffalo's and shortstroke's have their appeal.

Here are a few of my recent ones:

The main pouch on this one is divided just like I'd do a full-size possibles bag.  There's also an open pocket on the back.

This one's just purty.

I'm working on one right now with a fully beaded pouch in the Kiowa style that's completely out of this world.
