I am hesitatant to stir up old topics or emotions, but I thought it approiate to remember Al at the season opener here in Michigan. I havent' been out yet, nor am really in a hurry yet. I did however pull out some old Zephyr Sasquatch's tonight and put them on the front of some arrows. I then pulled out my sharpening container full of files and such, all the other stuff. In my broadhead box, I have two Al Reader made broadhead two blade sharpeners. The 10" has a Kingwood stand and the 6" field sharpener has a beautiful cocobolo stand. Al and I during our 5 year or so relationship, traded wood for broadhead files. We had many conversations over the years, sharing the same occupation, sharing both being collectors, and both left handed. The long Kingwood sharpener put a nasty serrated sharp edge quickly on the Sasquatch's. I gave a couple other Al Reader files to his friends that loved him and were loved by Al. Hope you use your files like I have. Nothing but pleasant memories from that red headed freckled dude. (That is another thing we had in common). Al I sure miss you. Your friend, Mike Pyeatt, leftyfred
