On the 3rd morning of the Oklahoma archery season I had a doe bust me at 7:00am, at 7:45 a 1 horned sppikes came in behind me without offering a shot, at 8:00am a forked horn came in on the wrong side of me and I could not get turned for a shot he no more than got by me and I spotted a 6pt coming up the same trail. Ireadied myself for the shot. Once he came out from the brush all I could think about was pick a spot, I was so caught up focusing on the spot I did not see which way he ran after my arrow found its mark. I knew the shot was a double lung hit so I waited 30 minutes and started the tracking. 10 yards from impact i found the first blood and followed it 150yds to my first trad kill. I have killed many whitetails with a wheel bow but never considered the gratifacation of making a good shot with my Black Widow SAIII. I will attach pics as soon as I figure out how.
