I went scouting Wenseday before the season opener and found a huge white oak raining acorns w/ lots of bear and buck sign under it.Saturday the opener evening I headed to this tree to hunt it from a treestand.At arrival I realize the wind was too iffy to hunt from a treestand.I decided to bluild a groudblind 27yrds from the tree's base.W/ 20 minutes left of good light,this guy shows up.Allow him to take acouple stepts to open the kill zone and the pics tells the rest of the story.Went 30yrds and was done
