Thanks all.

It's funny Brian, I was cool as a cucumber until I looked up and thought about taking the shot on the other doe. She was standing there 25yds out thinking, "What on earth is wrong with her?"  I started shaking and thought "That'll do!" and just watched her instead.

She was a 1 and a half year old doe I think and did have pretty big ears!  I got between 40-45lbs of meat off her.  Not bad. mmm!

You know I think that a different frame of mind could be used here. That arrow is not so much ruined. I would be thinking of it as well used with it purpose served.

Congrats man.

Great job Matt, Man at 30" I bet that widow is smokin that shaft. Great shot now go bust some of those tree buzzards. Love those Indiana woods absolutely beautiful up there in the fall.

You don't want to become too attached to wood arrows. They are expendable and that is the very best way to expend them.

Dang I'm jealous. I'm yet to collect my first doe with my stickbow.  ;)   Looks like a great way to ruin a good stand.  ;)    ;)    ;)
