Bow Give Away! -to someone just starting out
« on: October 12, 2009, 06:05:00 PM »
I have older bow that would make an excellent 1st bow for someone just starting out in traditional archery.  It is a Bear Minuteman takedown recurve.  60 inches long, 45# at 28" draw, aluminum riser, new string.  It is in excellent condition and shoots well.

Here is the catch.  It must go to someone who is new to the sport.  After you are done with it, or move on to a better bow, you must pass it on to another archer along with the same conditions to the giveaway.

Winner will either pick the bow up at my place (Wasilla, AK) or pay for shipping.

Let me know if you are interested.  If there is more that one archer interested, I will randomly select someone later in the week.

-Dan

I have a friend who has lost everything and is about to move in with me. I got him started in trad archery a month ago and he would be thrilled to have your bow.

Hey Dan
Please add my wife into the names. This would be great to get her into shooting. That way we can make it a family event with our two kids.

Thanks
Sean

My neighbor Pat, who's just lost his job and has spoken about his desire to shoot with me for quite some time.

My step son Jake would love at a chance at that bow. He just started shooting one of my bows but wants his own and mine is too heavy for him. He said he wanted his own but cant afford one.
Thanks for the chance

Good on ya!!!

Is this a right handed or left handed bow?

My dad shoots lefty and I am really trying to get to to release the training wheels!

No Problem  :)  I assumed that it was right handed.

Thanks for the generous offer that you are extending!
