I'm with George and Vermonster on this one. I am not for put-downs, or bloody witticisms, just the beauty of a simple bow and arrow. Our way should not alienate archers who have not picked up trad equipment yet.

Reproductions of ancient pictographs from any continent, or indigenous hunters with their bows would be good too.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I would   love  to have a well-done representation of Diana, with the moon, a wolfen dog and her bow and arrows.

But that's just me.

Vermonster nailed it as far as I'm concerned

Great sounding idea!

I would like to see a silhouette of a lone archer holding a bow near a skyline with the saying

"pick a spot" However I would probably buy any trad decal. Of course the silhouette would probably be black.

Nothing against the other ideas but, I kind of like Dave's (VM13) idea myself.

Alot of great ideas here.

The stump and arrow should be simple to make up, so will a few of the others.  vermonster's will take more time.

Dang vermonster that is awesome man.
How about a man and a boy with there bows on one knee looking at a set of tracks next to a buck rub.  It could say the tradition lives on.
I am so with George and Killdeer on not picking a fight with every compound shooter out there.

We all pick our own path and that's more of where I would focus personally also.

I do this kind of work all the time, BrothersoftheBow, Simmons Broadheads, and many others.

Go to:  http://www.logsdonstudios.com/html/logotypes.html

What you need is a clean, simple, recognizable (at a distance) logotype design.   I can create something in EPS format which is preferred by most companies cutting vinyl decals.  PM me for more info.

I forgot to add that with a EPS file there shouldn't be ANY setup costs.  They basically pop it in their computer and are ready to cut vinyl.

I realize there are such things and copyrights and trademarks but for "MY" decal I'd start here:

 http://www.eastonarchery.com/products/accessory/137

Take away "EASTON", the binoculars, the wheels, the bow quiver and add back quiver to make it more readily distinguishable as traditional archery.

Maybe even have an artist run with that idea/style and have him at full draw.

How about a trad hunter stalking a big buck along the bottom of the window with the buck under an oak on the passenger side and the hunter on the driver side with his bow in hand, arrow nocked and sneaking in some grass or something with a quiver full on his back and a Fred Bear hat on or on his knee at full draw, that would look good on my truck anyway and across the top of the window  "Trad Gang"
Also Like Vermoster's Idea .
