How do you get a rest off that has been glued on with barge cement?

The skin rest that is on my Cougar is getting worn out and I think it is glued with Barge cement and I want to replace it.
Yours truly,
Walter

Just pull it off, and rub the Barge away with your finger, should still be pliable, mine were.

If it is really stuck a LITTLE heat will soften the bond, toluene is the solvent.
