New Silvertip
« on: April 05, 2007, 09:09:00 PM »
Well, have had this one for several weeks but have not been able to play with it till today cause it needed a new string. Got it dialed in pretty quick. 59#@28",60",stripped ebony riser with osage stripe, stripped ebony vaneers on the limbs and checkered grip. I LIKE IT!!! Shooting 5/16 80# ramin arrows with 160gr point 29" BOP.

The boat is on it's way. Dang that is a pretty one, but you're still a sick sick man brother. I should know, I suffer the same illness. We'll need to open our own chat room soon for group meetings of bowaholics anonymous. If nothing else the trading will be real good. lol

This is the second Silvertip I have owned. Only reason I sold the other is I did not really care for the limb vaneers which were tulipwood. I saw this one up for sale and just could not resist and glad I succumed to temptation, it is a keeper for sure, little smaller grip than my Robertson Vision Falcon but easy to adjust and man does it feel good in the hand. Very beautiful and sweet shooting bow. I am keeping this one guys and gals so do not hold your breath waiting for it to show up in the classifieds,LOL.
