First bow kill 2009 season

Hello Guys, this afternoon I got around to seting up my new/old Bear grizzy 1966... Well it started out at 4:30 when I got to my stand.. As I was sitting there looking around the woods and thinking what it would have been like to have got to hunt or even meet some of greats in archery... Well to make a very long story short because in between 5pm and 6:15 I didnt see any game what so ever.. How ever just as I was looking around I saw this guy at about 27 yards or more ( I didn't walk it ).. As I stood up I pulled back my bow and as soon as I got the bow back to full draw I let go.. then the rest is history.. No it's not big buck I wanted but what the heck it's the first kill of the 2009 deer/small game season and it only took me one shot..Don't ask how I did it... If you look at the arrows in the quiver you will see they have mud on them.. Well I took the other three arrows and tryed to reshoot at the same place but I didn't even come close to the small target I was shooting at..
But I hope you guys enjoyed this..
Best,
Cody

Good shot Cody. I've not connected with a squirrel yet this year. It sure hasn't been for lack of trying! Good shooting.

Way to go, Cody! That's some fine breakfast there. We do need to get you some matched arrows, tho.
